Butter is a simple way to infuse CBD crystals into your food. (You can use other forms of CBD oil in CBD recipes too!) This butter can be used for a huge range of different recipes and is the fantastic way to get your daily CBD dose.
250g butter, CBD Oil
Cut the butter into cubes and add to a saucepan on the lowest heat setting. Allow the butter to melt, stirring frequently to ensure it melts evenly without boiling.
Once the butter has liquified completely, add your required amount of CBD oil. The amount you use is dependant upon the dose that you need as an individual. Keep in mind when you’re doing it that you’re likely to be consuming the butter in small doses and not all at once.
We recommend people new to cannabidiol start with a small amount. When using CBD, it’s important to start with a lower concentration and increase from there. Your body might find it hard to consume high doses effectively if you’ve never had CBD before.
Continue stirring the melted butter on a low heat so the CBD is completely distributed.
The butter can then be used in a wide range of recipes, such as brownies and cookies, or in savoury recipes such as buttery fried leeks, mushroom and chicken pie
If you’re not using the butter immediately, you can pour it into a container and allow it to cool into a hard block of clarified butter. It will have a slightly different consistency to normal butter, but it’s perfectly fine to use! Keep it in the fridge until you’re ready for it.
